As a survivor of childhood sexual assault, in addition to witnessing several other girls in her same situation, Alice has an informed and determined goal to provide a safe space for any survivor who may need support. She never wants a child to feel afraid to ask for help, to feel trapped in their situation with no way out, no matter the circumstances.
As a mother of four, Alice has a strong protective instinct and will stop at nothing to do her part in reducing the rates of sexual assault and human trafficking. She understands that sometimes when things get dark, having someone turn on the light and hold your hand is all you need.
